The Transportation Planner 1 is GBNRTCโs entry level planner position. TP1s support GBNRTCs work by applying their existing skills and learning new skills through formal and informal training opportunities. Typical types of work include GIS mapping, data collection/analysis, regional traffic modeling, researching and writing reports, developing visuals that communicate data effectively and participating in public outreach opportunities.

Southern Tier Central Regional Planning and Development Board (STC) is growing! We are seeking a Senior Planner to work on a wide variety of planning-related projects involving both teamwork and individual effort. This position will lead a team of planners, helping to set work priorities and provide guidance to junior-level staff. Further, this position will work on our water-related funding, working with counties and municipalities to maintain healthy watersheds and educate and assist in flood mitigation efforts. This is a unique job opportunity to work at a Regional Planning Board and provide technical assistance and training to governments and organizations within a three-county region. The full-time position is a civil service position, with a civil service exam to be given at a later date.
