About Greg: Greg Hutnik has a decade of experience in municipal leadership, current and long-range land use planning, watershed planning, environmental planning and consulting, grant writing and administration, and more recently managing a town's planning department. As the planner for the town of Danby, a municipality just outside of the city of Ithaca, Greg is involved in planning efforts related to housing, hamlet revitalization, economic development, environmental conservation, and recreation. Greg also serves on the town of Enfield's planning board and as its deputy supervisor.
CDTA is looking for a creative and technical Senior Planner to shape the future of our transit infrastructure. In this role, you will lead the design and planning of major capital projects, including mid-sized infrastructure, Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), and mobility hubs, while contributing to other critical Planning Department initiatives. You will work at the intersection of urban design, engineering, and operations to create safe, accessible, and efficient transit environments.
