Membership Liaison (ML) - Coordinate with the Chapter Membership Director with a focus on growing the Chapter Only membership opportunity for planners in the GFL region.
Jefferson County Planning is seeking a qualified professional to serve as Community Development Coordinator. This position is directly responsible for assisting Jefferson County's local communities by providing the expertise needed to develop and update their comprehensive land use plans, zoning ordinances, subdivision laws, and other municipal studies. Work is performed under general supervision of a Senior Planner, and the Deputy Director of Planning, with leeway allowed for exercise of independent judgment in carrying out details of the work. Supervision may be exercised over the work of Assistant Planners.
