Eligible participants are currently appointed to a municipal board or commission (Planning Commission, Board of Adjustment, Zoning Commission, Design Review Commission, or similar board).

Chapter President-Elect Sarah Gatti and others have been elected to lead the APA New York Upstate Chapter in 2027-2028 in the recent consolidated election with the American Planning Association. New officers start the new term on January 1, 2027 for two years. The full election results are available here.
