Now Hiring: REGIONAL WATER QUALITY COORDINATOR
Seeking a Regional Water Quality Coordinator to coordinate a portfolio of programs related to water quality, stormwater management, and infrastructure. Supported by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC), Southern Tier 8 assists the 8-county region and the Broome Tioga Stormwater Coalition (BTSC) with community programming, infrastructure mapping, and water quality initiatives.
The County of Chautauqua is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting firms to undertake a Countywide Resiliency Plan that will improve the ability of the County, its municipalities, and other private and public stakeholders to prepare for, adapt to, and minimize impacts from flooding, extreme heat, drought, severe winter weather, and other challenging weather events.
