/Jefferson County Real Property is seeking a qualified professional to serve as the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Coordinator. This essential role is responsible for the comprehensive management of the County-wide GIS, including the design, development, and maintenance of system architecture, servers, databases, and web services. The incumbent provides GIS training, technical assistance and user support to County Departments and municipal partners. The successful candidate will serve as the primary liaison for data-sharing agreements with state and regional agencies, utilities, and consultants, while also overseeing the work of GIS specialists. This position requires a thorough knowledge of database management, spatial analysis, and cartographic standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality GIS solutions across the region.
