2025 Empire State Greenways Conference - Call for Presentations Deadline Extended to April 30
/Join Parks & Trails New York in Kingston, October 15-17 for Creating Connections: The 2025 Empire State Greenways Conference! The conference committee is seeking presentation proposals to create a dynamic program around the solutions for developing, maintaining, and enhancing greenway trails in every corner of the state and beyond. The deadline for submitting a proposal has been extended to April 30, 2025. Find more information and submit a proposal on the conference webpage.
General registration is also now open for this two-day conference that will bring together active transportation and outdoor recreation professionals and enthusiasts to plan for the future of New York’s greenway trail network. Early bird pricing is available through May 15, 2025.
Chapter President-Elect Sarah Gatti and others have been elected to lead the APA New York Upstate Chapter in 2027-2028 in the recent consolidated election with the American Planning Association. New officers start the new term on January 1, 2027 for two years. The full election results are available here.
