Chapter News: Capital District Planners Association Announces Mentorship Program
/πππ πΎππ₯ππ©ππ‘ πΏππ¨π©π§πππ© ππ‘ππ£π£ππ§π¨ πΌπ¨π¨π€ππππ©ππ€π£ (πΎπΏππΌ) ππ¨ π₯π‘πππ¨ππ π©π€ ππ£π£π€πͺπ£ππ π©ππ 2024/25 ππ‘ππ£π£ππ£π πππ£π©π€π§π¨πππ₯ ππ§π€ππ§ππ’. The Mentorship Program connects undergraduate and graduate students at UAlbany with planning professionals practicing in the Capital Region. For students, the program is intended to be both supportive and experiential, helping them to develop a robust professional network and experience the diversity of activities and projects professional planners undertake on a daily basis. For planning professionals, the program helps recruit and retain local talent and develop the next generation of planners.

This is a specialized professional planning position with primary work assignments focused on the areas of historic preservation, neighborhood planning and urban design. In addition to these responsibilities, the incumbent performs general professional planning duties in the office and in the field.
