Job Opening: Community Development Program Specialist; Lowville, NY
/Lewis County currently has an opening for a Community Development Program Specialist. This position exists in the Planning and Community Development Department and involves a diverse range of functions to improve the overall mobility for the general public through coordinated transportation and planning efforts. The primary functions of this position include, but are not limited to, researching, and identifying coordinated transportation expansion and funding opportunities, grant writing, administration of local, state and federal grants for the County’s Public Transportation Program, and other duties as required by the Department. Work is performed under general supervision of the Director of Planning and Community Development with leeway allowed for exercise of independent judgement in carrying out details of the work. This position does related work as required.
