RFQ: Southern Tier Workforce Housing Investment Framework
/The Southern Tier 8 Regional Board, based in Binghamton, New York, has issued a Request for Qualifications seeking a firm or team of firms to support the development of a comprehensive Regional Workforce Housing Investment Framework. This framework will guide future investments by identifying scalable solutions to align housing supply with regional community and workforce demand and unlock public-private reinvestment. The project aims to leverage opportunities to foster a cycle of lasting reinvestment and community renewal by leveraging data, local capacity, and capital to deliver coordinated and sustainable housing solutions. The selected respondent will work across eight counties in New York’s Southern Tier, focusing on strategic planning, investment models, and implementation strategies to expand workforce housing opportunities and address evolving community needs.

Chapter President-Elect Sarah Gatti and others have been elected to lead the APA New York Upstate Chapter in 2027-2028 in the recent consolidated election with the American Planning Association.
