Chapter Announcements: WNY Annual Career Workshop and Networking Event
/The WNY APA and the UB School of Architecture and Planning are hosting the 3rd Annual Career Workshop and Networking Event!
The event will be held on Monday, February 3rd from 6:00pm – 8:00pm in Hayes 403 at the University’s South Campus. During the event students will participate one-on-one with professionals in mock interviews and a resume review workshop. There will be light food and refreshments provided along with opportunities to network and socialize during the event.
Students will be able to sign up for one or both activities in certain time slots at the event.
WNY APA is seeking professional volunteers from our membership to conduct mock interviews, assist in reviewing resumes, and to give guidance and advice to students on their future careers. Professional volunteer tasks and time slots will assigned before the event and sent to volunteers.

Jefferson County Planning is seeking a qualified professional to serve as Community Development Coordinator. This position is directly responsible for assisting Jefferson County's local communities by providing the expertise needed to develop and update their comprehensive land use plans, zoning ordinances, subdivision laws, and other municipal studies. Work is performed under general supervision of a Senior Planner, and the Deputy Director of Planning, with leeway allowed for exercise of independent judgment in carrying out details of the work. Supervision may be exercised over the work of Assistant Planners.
