RFP: Comprehensive Plan for the Town of Greig
/The Town of Greig has issued this Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking proposals for the development of a Comprehensive Plan for the Town. The Town has received funding through the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Adirondack Park Community Smart Growth Grant Program to complete this project, and the contract period is August 1, 2024 to July 31, 2027.
In partnership with Jefferson Community College (JCC), the Town of Greig conducted a Community Survey in 2015. The data was analyzed by JCC and there is an in-depth report on their findings; The Comprehensive Plan should be guided by this document.
The Town invites interested Bidders to submit written proposals for the development of the Comprehensive Plan. Firms with extensive experience in Comprehensive Planning development are encouraged to respond. Prior to the subcontractor award, the Town will establish a Comprehensive Planning Committee (CPC) that will act as a steering committee for the Comprehensive Plan development process.
The Rockland County Department of Planning is seeking an candidate to work in their fast- paced GIS (Geographic Information System) division. The work is specialized, diverse and can be complex in nature requiring responsibility for coordinating a comprehensive GIS program. General supervision is received from the Director, or a higher-level administrator. Supervision may be exercised over technical employees. Does related work as required.
