The City of Rochester is seeking an experienced engineering leader to serve as its next City Engineer.
This is a rare opportunity to lead one of New York's most diverse municipal engineering portfolios while helping implement the Rochester 2034 Masterplan and guide transformative initiatives such as ROC the Riverway, the Inner Loop North Transformation Project, neighborhood infrastructure improvements, historic preservation, environmental restoration, complete streets, and major capital investments that will shape Rochester for generations.
As City Engineer, you'll provide strategic leadership for the Bureau of Architecture and Engineering, oversee a talented multidisciplinary team of engineering and architectural professionals, direct the planning, design, and construction of complex public infrastructure projects, and collaborate with elected officials, community partners, consultants, and residents to improve the places where people live, work, and connect.
