Senior GIS Specialist

Schenectady County Economic Development and Planning Department is seeking an experienced Senior GIS Specialist to lead our GIS program and be part of our team working on varied Planning and Economic Development initiatives. The successful candidate will have a chance to put their mark on the County’s interactive GIS system (SIMS), and integrate their ideas for GIS modern capabilities and tools into various County directed and collaborative projects with municipalities and community partners. Ideal candidates are motivated self-starters, capable of multi-tasking, and want to be part of a collaborative, energetic team.
