Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority is hiring for a Senior Transportation Planner. This is a fast-paced, high level professional position overseeing and conducting a wide range of long and short-term transit planning activities. An employee in this class organizes, directs, plans and coordinates projects and employees involved in providing planning activities. Work is intended to be focused on the development of the Bailey Avenue Bus Rapid Transit project, with a focus on community engagement. Work is performed with considerable independence under the general supervision of the Manager and work is reviewed through observation of results obtained, conferences and periodic reports or evaluations.
