Job Opening: Planner at EDR Saratoga Springs Office
/EDR is seeking versatile, team-oriented Planner to join our Planning Practice Area in our Saratoga Springs, NY office. Qualified candidates will have bachelor’s degree in Planning or similar field of study plus 1-3 years of practice in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Planners will be responsible for supporting various planning projects through various analyses related to socio-economic data, land use, and zoning, using geographic information systems, writing, and general data analysis.
Initiative to seek out new assignments, be flexible and adaptable, and have good communication skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Planning.
1-3 years of aligned experience.
Skilled at technical writing, research and analysis, and public presentations.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), ArcGIS, Microsoft Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word) is extremely beneficial.
The anticipated base pay range of $45,000 – $60,000 per year is commensurate with experience. EDR reserves the right to pay outside of the target range based on an individual’s education, credentials, skill level and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity, geographic location, and business needs. EDR also offers a comprehensive benefits package (health insurance, 401[k], paid time off) as part of overall employee compensation.
