/MJ Engineering and Land Surveying, P.C. is actively seeking a planner to join our team to assist with current and exciting future projects. This job offering provides an exciting opportunity for the ideal candidate to grow and advance in MJ’s planning group. We are seeking a motivated candidate with a strong interest in urban and regional planning that is well organized, resourceful, and creative.
This full-time position will be responsible for leading projects focused on land use, downtown revitalization, environmental planning, complete streets, waterfront revitalization, resiliency, comprehensive planning, brownfield redevelopment, open space planning, zoning, grant writing and municipal planning support. Creative community engagement is at the heart of our planning processes. MJ planners work closely with other disciplines within the company such as transportation, GIS, site/civil engineering, landscape architecture, and water/wastewater engineering to prepare consensus-driven, reality-based plans that are implementable.
