The New York Upstate APA's mission is to serve and support the professional, student, and citizen planning community in New York State and to improve the quality of life through the use of planning. The Local Government Specialist 2 (LGS 2) duties in the Division of Local Government will include but not be limited to the following: Local Government Training Program; Technical Assistance; Publications/Presentations; Intra and Inter-Agency Cooperation; and Grant Review and Administration.
