/REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP): CONSULTING SERVICES FOR THE VILLAGE OF LAKEWOOD HARTLEY PARK WATERFRONT REVITALIZATION AND IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
The Village of Lakewood, NY is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide consulting services related to planning and design for a public waterfront improvement project in accordance with the solicitation documents, which may be obtained from the Village Clerk at 20 W Summit St, Lakewood, NY 14750, or the Chautauqua Lake & Watershed Management Alliance, 201 W 3rd St, Suite #115, Jamestown, NY 14701, email rperry@chautauquaalliance.org, or phone (716) 661-8923. Proposals are to be submitted to the Village Hall prior to 3:00 PM ET, Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud. Questions must be directed in writing per the instructions in the solicitation documents. The Village reserves the right toreject any or all proposals and/or to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the Village. All qualified applicants are encouraged to respond.

The St. Lawrence County Planning Office is seeking an entry level Planner to join a group of other professionals working in the largest County, by area, in the State. The successful candidate will have strong communication and writing skills and be familiar with GIS. Work will be varied but responsibilities include collecting and analyzing data, preparing graphic materials, assisting with community planning projects and programs, and staffing various advisory boards such as the County Planning Board, Environmental Management Council, Agricultural and Farmland Protection Board and Fair Housing Taskforce. The work is closely reviewed and is performed under direct supervision of a higher level Planner or the Director of Planning, but incumbents are allowed to work under more general supervision as they increase in professional competence.
