In 2003, the Upstate Chapter of the American Planning Association, together with the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at the University at Buffalo, established the Michael Krasner Memorial Scholarship in Planning. Mike was an adjunct professor at UB and a practicing planner in Western New York. The annual $1500 award honors his memory as well as his commitment to practice and education in urban and regional planning within Western New York. This video tells the story of the Krasner Scholarship and profiles the success of Krasner Scholarship winners and their positive impact in Western New York. Manage Community Development and Housing. Evaluates and plans human service delivery programs, including preparation of operating budgets and financing plans; Evaluates and anticipates the operational impact of new and proposed state and federal legislation; Evaluates the impact of proposed policy and procedural changes upon existing programs, activities, and service delivery; Analyzes impact of legislative, policy, procedural, and funding changes on existing or proposed programs; Ensure Human Service agencies' compliance with HUD regulations regarding eligible activities and eligible expenses.
