REI: City of Albany Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan

The Capital District Transportation Committee (CDTC) is the designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) carrying out Federal requirements for cooperative transportation planning and programming within the Albany-Schenectady and Saratoga Springs metropolitan areas. CDTC seeks Expressions of Interest from qualified firms or individuals to execute the City of Albany Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan. This project will create a new Pedestrian Master Plan and further develop the existing 2009 Bicycle Master Plan. The Plans will provide clear direction on priority locations and desired design treatments for inclusion in street repaving or reconstruction projects, in the interest of facilitating safe, comfortable, and inclusive bicycling and walking. CDTC, on behalf of the City of Albany, will administer the consultant contract for the project and will assist the City as project manager. The project has a budget of $90,000 for consultant services.
