RFP: 2020 State Route 13 Corridor Study, Tompkins County

Tompkins County has an open RFP solicitation for consulting engineering services to conduct a corridor study of State Route 13 in Tompkins County. This project is intended to provide strategic guidance for future projects that will help protect the functionality of the roadway while ensuring the safety of its users. 

The closing date for the solicitation is April 22, 2019. 

The corridor under consideration runs along SR-13 from Warren Road (Village of Lansing) to the Village of Dryden western boundary, approximately 9 miles. SR-13 is a State highway that falls under the jurisdiction of the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT). Crossing roads along the corridor include County Roads, under the jurisdiction of Tompkins County, and local roads under the responsibility of either the Town of Dryden or Village of Lansing. The SR-13 study corridor has fourteen total intersections, including five (5) priority intersections (intersections that all traverse SR-13 and carry significant amounts of traffic).
