The Greater Buffalo Niagara Regional Transportation Council is seeking a highly motivated professional to serve as a Transportation Demand Management Project Coordinator and Outreach Specialist to support the development of the Go Buffalo Niagara Transportation Management Association (TMA) Initiative. This is a Temporary Position (12-month grant funded position), up to 40 hours per week.
Work collaboratively and creatively with existing partner organizations including the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority, Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, GO Bike Buffalo and Buffalo Niagara Partnership through effective project management and outreach.
Assist with the development, implementation and promotion of Travel Demand Management (TDM) strategies, objectives and marketing materials that provide alternative transportation options and improve mobility.
Develop and optimize relationships with other partners such as the downtown neighborhood business associations to enhance overall TMA development, membership, marketing and outreach.
Provide assistance and best-practices to businesses and organizations through consultations, communications, policy outreach other events to support multi-modal solutions for commuters and employers.
Provide bi-monthly reporting on key activities and tasks accomplished and collaborate with larger team, as necessary, to achieve TMA planning goals.
