DEPUTY COMMISSIONER OF PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT, TOWN OF ISLIP, NEW YORK

The Town of Islip, Long Island, New York, consists of 160 square miles and a population of 360,000 residents.  The Deputy Commissioner assists in the management of five divisions – Planning, Building, Engineering, Economic Development and Zoning Board of Appeals.  The department oversees a $5.4M budget with 77 staff members. 

Salary range $90,000-110,000 commensurate with experience.
