America’s original cities are building its future. That’s why CityAge will hold the next edition of the Summit on The New American City in Rochester, New York on June 7th, 2016. An evening reception will be held prior the Summit on June 6th An urban renaissance is underway in mid-sized cities across the United States, driven by new partnerships among business, university and city leaders. Downtowns are growing again, and a new urban economy is taking shape, driven by the new engines of an innovation economy. Cities have an opportunity to take the lead in in this new economy through smart partnerships with business, academic and philanthropic leaders, and new investments in the infrastructure and technologies tomorrow’s companies need to grow. Hosted by Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren, and building on prior editions in Kansas City, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Philadelphia and Seattle, CityAge will gather a regional and national audience to address how the business of city-building can contribute to building The New American City.
