The Jefferson County Department of Planning is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Community Development Coordinator. Responsibilities include providing technical assistance for County-level planning and development programs and conducting comprehensive land use planning and development activities in local communities.
Minimum qualifications for the position are: Graduation from a recognized college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Planning, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Engineering, Geography, or Environmental Studies and one year's experience in municipal, community, or regional planning, or Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in municipal, community, or regional planning.
Salary: $43,025-$55,546 with excellent fringe benefits including health insurance.
